Entering the park, straight onto the Superman ride, a brilliant roller coaster that turned out to be Calum's favourite ride of the day where Superman pushes the ride around the roller coaster.
One of the downsides of being out here in the Australian winter is the some of the attractions at the parks we visited are shut for refurbishment ready for their summer. That still feels odd because it's so hot here. We got chatting to a lady who works on site, she said she can spot the English a mile off because they are all in shorts and tee shirts complaining of the heat, whilst all the Aussie's are dressed in fleeces and complaining of the cold!
They still had the stunt car show which was fantastic and lots of other great attractions.
Les's highlight of the day was his photo with
Sadly Calum and Jen refused to have photo's with Batman. The Batmobiles from the earlier films and from the recent films were both on site and there were Batman Shows
as well as Scooby-doo and a western show. Unfortunately the western show was a reduced showing due to work on site. We took hundreds of photo's so will need to cut them down somehow.
A full day was spent at the park with us leaving at closing, 5.00pm this time of year. We got back to the hotel at 5.30pm and I'm typing this up by the pool in the dark, whilst Calum has a swim. Still lovely and warm, a beautiful still night.
